This is a very good feeling indeed

There are just so many unique things about it that’s it’s just… Wonderful.
It has no real desire to keep anything about it restricted to just one… Genre, if you will. There’s a town based on New York City. There are traditional fantasy elements to it. There is a continent made entirely out of Lego blocks and toy pieces, underneath which is an alien crash site and, near to that, a centuries-old Korean folk town. A continent across the sky from that one has a road leading from a land roughly inspired by Arabian Knights to a city of darkness where there’s a war going on between alchemy /magic and science. Somewhere else there’s a continent whose inhabitants are all anthropomorphic pandas that’s inspired by ancient China. You can play a magician or an assassin or a warrior or an archer or a pirate, and those are just basic classes. There’s also some kid with a dragon, and a guy from some frozen area who was preserved in a block of ice for like ever, and a team of specialized knights or something, and SURELY MORE THINGS that came along after I stopped playing.
I think there’s a world based specifically on a shopping mall, too.
It’s just so strange and surreal and wonderful, basically. Even if the gameplay is annoying and leveling is an enormous pain in the ass, that was never the focus or the wonder for me. The things that I look back on when I think about that game are, first of all, the friends I made (and the IRL friends I played it with), and all of the strange and unusual and amazing environment and monster and character designs it had.
So basically I’m saying that
1) I really miss it
and
2) I’m going to take up playing it again this summer for sure.
And then I’ll get bored after a while and write a sappy nostalgic post like this next year.
and it is absolutely awful 8(
It was
Magical
I ended up meeting four other players along the way. I got separated from my original friend when I got up and had to piddle half way through
I don’t adequately have words to describe how sad I was to lose them
And then along the way I met… More people, except I couldn’t really differentiate them or anything I guess. When it told me at the end who all I had played with, I was surprised to see so many…
Anyway, then it got to the end and
I cried actually
I had SO MANY FEELS
There is just something so magical about the experience of playing that game… It’s legitimately unlike any other thing I’ve ever played. and part of it was the multiplayer, but another whole part was the entire atmosphere and just… Everything.
I need to play it more. … Later. Now I gotta study and sleep…
Spend $4
Fuq dis
Go and wait in the lounge until everyone else gets finished
It is just so calming and beautiful ;w;

It’s really the only game that’s ever brought me to tears with it’s sheer beauty.
I AM GLAD I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE
BEST GAME ;-;
And I mean the one that plays when you first turn it on like before you hit the title screen
I never realized how amazing it is when I played it years ago
But it is like
Amazingly good
Like, just the dramatic lighting in the areas this kid passes through, the PERFECT MUSIC, the camera angles, the way it pans over the landscape and the characters and swings back at the end to give you the full scale of how fucking big this world and this quest is, and just everything
It legit gave me shivers
It’s officially one of my favorite scenes in anything, it’s just so good
And this is a fucking video game here
And then I think about the film adaption that I heard they were going to make of this game and it just makes me GROAN because there wasn’t much that wasn’t executed perfectly in the game already and there’s basically no chance whatsoever that Hollywood will get anywhere close to capturing it
Tl;dr I have feels about a game that’s close to a decade old.
Add me guys I want pals
LEE ACQUIRED A HUG
And boy did I need one that final was a doozy
so okay so
tomorrow is the final for my international trade economics class, we just have three exams rather than a real final
so we’ve basically got this empty slot of time for finals on tuesday
and yesterday in class someone was like
LET’S ALL GET TOGETHER AND WATCH STAR WARS DURING THE FINAL TIME
because i dunno, people keep bringing up star wars every damned class
so the professor was like
‘i’ll think about it’
especially because someone mentioned the idea of getting extra credit for showing up
so
yeah
basically there is a chance that like
we could watch star wars for extra credit

Happy anniversary to me and dad ;w;
